• 1 Answer SOURCE: I'm new at FixYa, and I don't own this particular stapler, but I'll give this a shot. Grip the black (middle) part of the stapler on its sides, flip it over (upside-down) and bend the base so you expose what would be the bottom of the black part of the stapler (now facing up, of course, because the stapler is upside-down). There should be a tab near the hinge that you can simply pull to expose the compartment where the staples are stored. (That's how I reload my PaperPro stapler.) Posted on Feb 28, 2011.
